Brief Instruction to Shanghai Association of Underwear
trade |
Shanghai Association
of Underwear trade was established on Dec. 12, 2002, which
is rebuilt from Shanghai Association of knitting trade.
The president is Su Shounan, a famous enterpriser and
general manager of Shanghai Three Gun (Group) Co., Ltd.
and the secretary-general is Chen Guoqi.
The
association consists of 102 members, which occupy 27.4%
of 254 enterprises of whole underwear circle in Shanghai.
In 2001, the total sales of the member enterprises is
RMB ￥6,296 millions and the market share of that is over
35%.
In
the association,there are many enterprises with famous
brand.The TREE GUN brand knitted underwear has the market
share over 20% which ranks the first in the national knittedunderwear
market for many years and the YIERSHUANG brand knitted
underwear ranks the second. The CHRYSANTHEMUN brand and
the FLYING HORSE brand are identified as the famous brand
of Shanghai. The INFRARED brand health product and the
BEIJIRONG brand thermal underwear are also quite effective.
The SHUYA brand underwear of foreign-capital enterprise
is favored by the white collar class. The bra product
of brand GUJIN, TRIUMPH, EMBRY FORM and AIMER have already
enjoyed high reputation in market. The hosiery product
of brand AIGU, HUAZHONG, LANGSHA and LIGUO are very famous
in hosiery market.
According
to the basic function of the trade service, trade self-discipline,
trade representation and trade coordination, the association
sets up the Development Center of Underwear, the Commission
of Expert Consult, Member Department, Technical Service
Department, Intermediary Department etc. Under the lead
of president, the secretary-general is in charge of the
daily fairs.
Depend
on the policy of Luwan distinct government to support
the underwear trade, the Development Center of Underwear
will attract the famous brand enterprises at home and
abroad to settle there and to make there the development
center of underwear of Shanghai and China. There will
be a website of the association to provide and collect
information of the trade and to help the members to promote
their images and spread their brands. The association
will provide the technology consult, technical train and
qualification test, organize technical seminar and exhibition,
judge the excellent product, analyse the feasible proof
for big investment project and set up the municipal class
center of underwear test. The association will provide
legal service and represent the enterprise apply to government
for the anti-dumping, anti-subsidies or protective measures.
The enterprises
of underwear and all related products are welcome to join
the association and all circles are welcome to cooperate
with the association.
